Zenbe lists: to do’s for busy people

Are you looking for a simple, elegantly designed, to do list service that sync’s across your devices? Look no further - Zenbe Lists is your answer. As a busy entrepreneur, I needed a way to keep track of my daily tasks. I truly like to create a daily to do list and then check off the tasks as I complete them. This helps me prioritize my day and gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Here are some things I love about Zenbe lists:

1. Super easy to create a list and items to complete. Simply select the “Create a new list” button and your on your way.

2. Super simple to move items in the order that you want them to appear. I usually put my most important topics on top and and work my way down.

3. Sync’s to my iPhone. When I’m done creating my list, I just hit “refresh” in my web browser and now the data is accessible on my iPhone. It’s also a two way street so you can create a list on your mobile device and then sync it with your computers browser.

4. Check boxes. As you’d expect with a list service, there’s a check box to select once you complete a task.

5. Sharing. Yes, you can share a list with friends, family, or co-workers. Planning a trip or project? This feature is a great way to share tasks with your team.

In summary, Zenbe Lists is a brilliantly simple tool for creating lists, syncing across devices, and sharing with your team members. Zenbe lists can be found at www.zenbe.com/lists (for free) or in the iTunes app store for $4.99. It’s also accessible via your mobile devices web browser if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad. Pachter predicts Netflix’s streaming content licensing costs will rise from $180 million in 2010 to a whopping $1.98 billion in 2012.

When streaming video was new, Netflix was able to secure contracts with the likes of Warner Bros. Studios and MTV to license big TV and film catalogues for about $5 million to $10 million per year. This time around, Pachter says, those costs could increase more than tenfold.

Evernote: a fantastic tool for busy people!

As a busy entrepreneur and executive, I am constantly brainstorming ideas on technology, go to market strategies, and ways to improve our business. Additionally, I am voracious reader and I am constantly consuming information to advance my understanding of the world both professionally and personally. I was struggling - till I found evernote - to capture and organize my ideas and sync them across my various devices - in my case - a mac and iPhone. Evernote, therefore, is an application for mac’s, pc’s, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android) for the capturing of txt, images, & voice notes. It’s brilliant! Here is what I love about evernote:  

1. Easily capture txt, voice, and images on your mobile device or computer. When I have an idea, I simply open up evernote and type or speak away. My phone and computer are almost with me, so whenever an idea pops into my head, I can now capture it - no pen or paper required.
2. Notebooks aka folders. After I create a note, I simply create or select the appropriate notebook and its now organized.  
3. Sync’s across my devices. I think I love this part the best. When I create a note or update an existing one on my iPhone, it automatically syncs to my computers desktop evernote application. This is just so handy! For example, I note that I started on my iPhone, can be completed or added to on my computer. Nice!
4. Searchable. Notes in evernote are searchable! Even webpages and photos! Not only are the note titles and tags searchable, but the entire txt is searchable. Can’t remember exactly what the note was called? No problem, just enter your best recollection in the Evernote search bar.
5. Webpage clips. I really really love this feature. Upon installing Evernote, you can clip portions of or entire web pages/articles into Evernote. I use this to clip articles that I want to read later on my iPhone when I have a few free minutes. This has proven to be an incredible productivity booster for me.

In summary, Evernote is a brilliant tool for brainstorming ideas both professionally and personally, cataloging thing of interest, and storing interesting articles for reading at a later time.
